Use of Digital Technology
Our vision for our students is for them to become critical, efficient, and effective users of the digital tools available to them. We value a balanced approach to the use of technology, ensuring our students can critically review the options available to meet their audience and purpose.
The use of digital technologies supports all our programs at Alphington Primary School. With the inclusion of the Digital Technologies domain of the Victorian Curriculum, students are encouraged to make decisions about the development and use of technologies, consider the impacts of technological change and how technologies may contribute to a sustainable future. At Alphington Primary School we provide a range of digital resources for our students to use. These include:
- iPads and laptop computers
- Seesaw (Digital Portfolio)
- Interactive Whiteboards / TVs in every learning space
- Coding tools such as Dot & Dash robots and Bee-Bots
- Green Screen Technology
