School Tour Dates - 2021:
We are looking forward to having you join us on a School Tour in 2021.
Please note - YOU WILL NEED TO RING  AND BOOK INTO A SCHOOL TOUR AS WE DO HAVE LIMITS.
Please call the office on 03 9499 2200 and speak to Liliana or Lauren to book into a tour:
School Tours run for approx 1/2 hour. Please enter from the Yarralea St gate to the School Administration Building

Foundation student enrolment applications are invited during the year prior to commencing school.  Students residing where Alphington Primary School is their closest school have the right to enrol.  Students who live beyond this region are welcome to apply for a place and maybe considered for enrolment however are not guaranteed a place. Enrolment offers will be confirmed in writing early Term 3.  Students who have a sibling enrolled have priority status. Student Enrolments received for students in Years 1 to 6 will be considered if there is a vacancy in that year level.

Department of Education and Training Advice for Enrolment
Children who will reach the age of 5 years on or before 30 April may commence school at the commencement of that school year.  The following documentation is required for enrolment:
  1. Department of Education and Training enrolment Form. Please contact the office to find out how to obtain a form.
  2. A copy of the child’s Birth Certificate or passport as proof of birth date.
  3. A copy of the 'Certificate of Immunization' from the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register Tel: 1800 653 809.
  4. We require proof of residential address with enrolment forms. You can visit "Find My School" to find out if we are your local school: https://www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au/​


​Open Afternoon 
Alphington Primary School Open Afternoon is held during Education Week each year.  This is an excellent opportunity for children and parents to see the school and classrooms in operation. School tours are run by our Year 6 students, great ambassadors for the school and a personal tour with the Principal can also be arranged if you wish. Application forms and information are readily available on the day.

International Students 
For families arriving from overseas, school entry is determined by the Visa Subclass Number on your child’s Passport. Students unable to enrol directly into the school can enrol via the International Education Division. Please contact them by phone on 03 9637 2990, by email  on international@edumail.vic.gov.au or visit their website on www.study.vic.gov.au for further information.
